About Me
Hi, I’m Alyssa (she/her).

I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, outdoor athlete, and someone who deeply believes in the power of movement, connection, and meaningful change.
I come from a background in exercise and health sciences and am a former collegiate cross country and track athlete. These days, you’ll find me chasing joy on trail runs, mountain bikes, or skis or attempting to learn guitar. I'm reminded daily that growth often happens outside our comfort zones.
My work as a health coach is rooted in a simple belief. Feeling well should not require perfection, punishment, or pushing yourself harder. It starts with listening to your body, your needs, and the season of life you are in.

My path to health coaching was not linear. After college, I stepped away from a career plan that no longer felt aligned and spent several years navigating growth, uncertainty, and healing. During that time, I learned to care for my body after a Celiac disease diagnosis. Living with an “invisible” condition reshaped how I understand health, resilience, and what people often carry beneath the surface. It also deepened my empathy and commitment to meeting others with compassion, not assumptions.

When I discovered health coaching, it felt like coming home. It offered a way to blend science-backed behavior change with a deeply human approach to care. This work honors individuality, supports sustainable habits, and makes space for both progress and rest.
Over the past nine years, I have supported women through life transitions, hormonal shifts, chronic health concerns, and the everyday overwhelm of modern life. My coaching focuses on helping you reconnect with yourself, shift limiting beliefs, and build habits that feel realistic, nourishing, and supportive.

At the heart of my work is partnership. I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, accountability, and encouragement as you create a version of health that truly fits your life.

The name “Treeline Well-Being” was born where most of my best ideas come from– out on a trail run behind my home in Crested Butte, CO. I love the small nature moments and the hidden analogies and parallels that nature mirrors back at us. At its most basic definition, “treeline” is (on a mountain) the line or altitude above which no trees grow. The elevation of treeline varies across the globe but in the Colorado Rockies, treeline sits at around 11,500ft (3505 m).
If your goal is to hike and summit a peak, getting above treeline is at the point where things start to get extra hard– you feel the symptoms of altitude more acutely, the terrain becomes more exposed to the elements, and it’s often more technical terrain. Whether you reach the summit or not, when you get above the trees, you are often rewarded with beautiful 360-degree views. All of this parallels similarly to habit formation and behavior change. It can be tough and uncomfortable to change, build new habits, uncover barriers, and lay the foundation of consistency to create lasting change . That’s where coaching can come in. Health coaching meets you wherever you are at in your journey and can help support you with the tools and support you need to learn how to build sustainable habits and help you reach or find your own summit, whatever that means or looks like to you.
